WACO, Texas — A suspect has been indicted in the murder of a woman in Waco on Sept. 29, 2023, according to the McLennan County District Clerk's Office.
Gustavo Rojas was reportedly indicted on one count of murder and one count of aggravated assault by a McLennan County Grand Jury on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
According to Waco Police, the murder took place on Sept. 29, 2023. Waco PD said officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Avondale Ave., where they found a man and a woman who had been shot.
Police said the victims were taken to the hospital, where the woman died of her injuries while undergoing treatment.
No further information on the case has been provided at this time.
