KILLEEN, Texas — Person in car accident on intersection of Trimmier Road and Stagecoach Road has now been identified, according to Killeen Police Department.
The dead individual was identified as 48 year-old Emily Santiago Figueroa.
On Friday, Dec. 1, at 7:10 p.m., Killeen Police were called to a single vehicle crash at the intersection of Trimmier Road and Stagecoach Road.
According to officers, the sole occupant of the vehicle, Figueroa, was found to be suffering from serious injuries. Killeen EMS immediately transported her to a local hospital.
The investigation revealed that a white 2021 BMW SUV was traveling southbound on Trimmier Road at a high rate of speed, when it left the roadway, striking a concrete retaining wall on the south side of the intersection with Stagecoach Road, officers said.
She was pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace Nicola James at 8:52 p.m. on Dec 2.
