TEMPLE, Texas — One person was taken to the hospital with a "significant injury" after an assault in Temple on Nov. 27, according to police.
The Temple Police Department said officers were sent to the 2500 block of S. 5th Street in Temple around 3:22 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
When officers arrived, they reportedly found a person who had been assaulted. Police said the person was taken to the hospital with "significant injury to their face and head". No other injuries have been reported at this time.
Temple PD said the case is currently under investigation, and no other information will be released at this time.
