Victim left with 'non-life-threatening injuries' after shooting in Temple

TEMPLE, Texas — One person was left with "non-life-threatening" injuries after a shooting in Temple on Wednesday, June 26, according to the Temple Police Department.

Police stated officers were dispatched to the 600 block of S. 7th Street in Temple around 11:30 p.m. for a report of shots fired.

When officers arrived on scene, they reportedly learned a victim had been taken to the hospital by a friend after being shot. Police said the victim's injuries were not life threatening.
