BELTON, Texas — One person was taken to the hospital after an alleged shooting in the parking lot of the Summer Fun Water Park in Belton, according to the Belton Police Department.
Police said officers responded to the shots fired call around 11:28 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 and found a man who had been shot.
The man was taken to Baylor Scott & White in Belton in stable condition, according to Belton PD.
Police said they believe the incident to be isolated and said there is no threat to the public.
The Belton Police Department said it is currently investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact Belton PD at 254-933-5840.
