TEMPLE, Texas — A single-car traffic accident in Temple killed one person at around 12:11 a.m. on Monday, Sep. 9 in the 1100 block of West Adams Avenue.
Police have identified the driver as 27-year-old Oscar Aquino of Killeen.
Police say the car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it ran off the road and crashed into a fence and tree. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene by Justice of the Peace Cliff Coleman.
The Temple Police Department is still investigating the crash and urge anyone with information to contact the department at 254-298-5500.
