Law enforcement searching for suspects after pursuit ends in crash in Robertson County

Authorities are asking residents to lock their homes and vehicles and look out for anything suspicious.

WHEELOCK, Texas — Residents in Wheelock, Texas are being asked to lock their doors and vehicles after a police chase ended in a crash in the area, with the suspects still on the loose.

The Robertson County Sheriff's Office said local law enforcement was involved in a chase on Oct. 22 which ended in the suspects crashing their vehicle at the end of State Street and running from the scene.

Authorities say they believe the suspects may be in possession of at least one gun.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are reportedly searching the scene, but no suspects have been located at the time of writing. Authorities said they will "exhaust every usable search option at their disposal", including ground and air searches.

Residents are being asked to lock their doors, homes and vehicles and call 911 if they notice anything suspicious.
