KILLEEN, Texas — The Killeen Police Department is urging residents and drivers to avoid the 2600 block of Paula Road while the US Marshall Service and Killeen SWAT serves a felony arrest warrant.
According to Killeen PD, the suspect is contained and there is no immediate danger to the public. However, they want people to avoid the area until the situation is resolved.
6 News Reporter Jordan Sartor-Francis spoke with nearby neighbors on the scene and they said they could hear a drone flying up around the area, as well as police making commands on an intercom system, asking the suspect to come out of a home.
6 News witnessed law enforcement wearing gas masks on the scene and a K-9 Unit being deployed in the area.
Just before 11:40 a.m., three people were seen arrested on the scene.
Information on the suspects has not been released at this time.
