KILLEEN, Texas — The Killeen Police Department (KPD) identified the city's 14th murder victim as 68-year-old Vivian Delois McClain.
KPD responded to a call about a shooting near the 2300 block of Andover Drive around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25.
When officers arrived, they found an unconscious woman -- later identified as McClain -- shot inside a crashed vehicle in the 1000 block of Westover Drive. She was pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace Nicola James 5:04 a.m., police say.
KPD is urging anyone with videos or security footage of this area to contact the Criminal Investigation Department at (254) 501-8830.
