Killeen Police release identity of man allegedly murdered at Hallmark Inn

Police said the 70-year-old victim was found dead in a room at Hallmark Inn with unspecified injuries on Feb. 2.

KILLEEN, Texas — The Killeen Police Department has released the identity of a man allegedly murdered in Killeen in early February.

According to Killeen PD, detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division identified the victim as Nathaniel Sims.

KPD reported that officers were dispatched to the Hallmark Inn located at 4500 E. Central Texas Expressway around 1:31 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2.

Officers reportedly found a 70-year-old man, now identified as Sims, dead in a room with unspecified injuries.

KPD stated detectives are actively investigating the murder and provided no other information at this time.

The department has asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 254-526-8477 or online at bellcountycrimestoppers.com.

Tips can also be made through the P3Tips app, according to KPD. All information is confidential and anonymous and could earn a $1000 cash reward if information leads to an arrest of the person or persons responsible, said KPD.
