17-year-old and three suspects in Grindr-linked aggravated kidnapping case arrested

A 17-year-old male, two 16-year-old and 15-year-old teens were identified as the suspects.

KILLEEN, Texas — Four suspects have been arrested for an alleged aggravated assault and kidnapping that took place on Sunday, June 2, according to Killeen Police Department.

Killeen PD said a 17-year-old male, two 16-year-old and one 15-year-old teens were identified as the suspects.

According to officers, they were conducting an area check at round 2 a.m. in the area of Hallmark Ave and Wolf St. 

Upon arrival, officers saw multiple teenagers in the middle of the street. One of the teenage boys waved the officers down as the other boys ran from the area. There were three running from the scene and a 17-year-old teenager trying to enter a house, before being stopped KPD said.

According to officers, the victim told officer he was using dating app called Grindr when he was lured to an address nearby. The victim was confronted by four unknown boys with guns. He was led to his car where he was struck with a gun, KPD said.
