KILLEEN, Texas — Killeen Police have identified two victims that died in a shooting at the start of the month.
Around 11:45 p.m. on July 31, officers responded to reports of a man having been shot in the 900 block of Adams Avenue. A 51-year-old man was found dead after being shot in his apartment.
As the murder was being investigated, two other victims--a 35-year-old man and 30-year-old woman--were brought into an emergency medical facility in Killeen after also being shot. The man later died from his injuries, but the woman was able to be taken to another medical facility in Killeen with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victims were identified as Jesse Miles, 51, and Anthony McKoy, 35, respectively.
Police are continuing to urge anyone with information about the murders to contact Bell County Crime Stoppers. They can be reached by going to bellcountcrimestoppers.com or by calling 254-526-TIPS. An anonymous tip can also be submitted on the P3Tips App on iOS or Android. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest of the murder suspect.
