KILLEEN, Texas — A 21-year-old man has been arrested in Killeen after a shots-fired call on Oct. 30, according to the Killeen Police Department.
According to the department, officers were dispatched to the area of Greengate Drive around 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 30 in reference to a shots-fired call.
Police said officers observed a silver SUV leaving from the direction where the shots allegedly came from, and conducted a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Polk Drive.
When officers approached the driver, they reportedly observed him wearing ear protection for shooting firearms and saw an unholstered pistol in the middle seat of the vehicle.
Killeen PD said they conducted a search of the vehicle, where officers found four additional firearms, 8.7 grams of marijuana and $950 in U.S. currency.
According to police, the 21-year-old driver of the vehicle was arrested on outstanding warrants and taken to the Killeen City Jail.
Killeen PD says the investigation is currently ongoing. No further information has been released at this time.
