KILLEEN, Texas — A man is in critical condition after being shot around midday in Killeen.
Around 1:04 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, the Killeen Police Department says they were notified of a victim that had been shot in the city.
When they got to the 2200 block of Botanical Drive, where the incident was reported from, they were able to confirm the report of a victim being shot. The male victim was airlifted to Baylor Scott & White in critical condition, police say.
Little has been revealed about the shooting, but police say that detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division are actively investigating the incident.
