HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas — Christopher Charles Roberson, of Harker Heights was wanted for murder and aggravated assault on Tuesday, Nov. 14, according to Justice of the Peace Cliff Coleman.
Roberson has since been transported to the Bell County Jail.
On Nov. 12, at 1:44 p.m., Harker Heights Police Department responded to the 300 block of West Veterans Memorial Blvd for reports of an injured female. According to officers, while on the scene they located a female suffering from head and arm injuries.
According to officers, the female victim gave officers information on a second male victim.
The male victim was located unresponsive at an abandoned building in the 500 block of West Veterans Memorial Blvd, without the alleged suspect.
According to officers, they were able to locate the alleged suspect in the 200 block of Jamie Road, where they arrested him.
The male victim identified as Dangelo Xavier Valadez, age 37 years old of Harker Heights, died at the scene, officers said.
The female victim was taken to a local hospital.
According to officers, Roberson's bond is set at $1,000,000.00 for Murder and $500,000.00 for Aggravated Assault.
