Gunman sought after man shot near Dickeys Barbecue Pit in Temple

Police were called around 4:40 p.m. to the 11800 block of FM 2305 for reports of a shooting.

TEMPLE, Texas — A man was shot Sunday near Dickeys Barbecue Pit in Temple.

Police were called around 4:40 p.m. to the 11800 block of FM 2305 for reports of a shooting.

Officers found a man that had been shot. He was taken to Baylor Scott and White Medical. His condition was not immediately known.

It is unknown what led to the shooting. The gunman has not been arrested.

Surveillance video from the gas station where the restaurant is captured the moments after the shooting. 

The gas station owner said police were interested in the video because of the two cars that pulled out of the parking lot.

Another angle of the video shows people running in the parking lot and then running into the store.
