BURLESON COUNTY, Texas — A 19-year-old has been arrested after Burleson County Sheriff's Deputies reportedly seized drugs during a traffic stop on Wednesday, April 17.
According to the Sheriff's Office, deputies and K9 Judge were conducting traffic enforcement on State Highway 21 west of Caldwell when they stopped a vehicle that was allegedly speeding.
During the stop, K9 Judge alerted to the odor of contraband in the vehicle, said the Sheriff's Office.
While searching the vehicle, the Sheriff's Office said deputies found six pounds of marijuana, 600 grams of THC cartridges and .5 ounces of psilocybin/mushrooms.
The Sheriff's Office said 19-year-old Angel Salinas was arrested and charged.
