WACO, Texas — The body of a 22-year-old woman who was reported missing out of Delaware was discovered in Waco on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
According to Sgt. Ryan Howard with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the body of Lisy Vasquez Mendoza was found near the 300 block of S. 8th Street. Waco PD was called to help assist DPS.
Details about how Mendoza's body was discovered weren't released. Shipley confirmed it was an active investigation.
Mendoza was reported missing out of Dover, Del.
