Authorities seeking help identifying suspect in Salado burglary case

SALADO, Bell County — The Bell County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in a burglary case that took place in Salado last month.

According to the sheriff's department, the suspect stole a handgun and bicycle from a home in the area and was spotted at the QuikTrip store in town. Officers were unable to get to where the suspect was before he fled the scene, but security cameras were able to give authorities a visual image of the person they're looking for in the case.

Provided photos of the suspect show a man with dark hair, light skin, a heart tattoo on his left hand, and a black long-sleeve shirt and dark-colored pants.
