WACO, Texas — More than 100 people were arrested in McLennan County in a multi-agency sting authorities called Operation Washout.
During a press conference Friday afternoon, the Waco police chief, McLennan County sheriff and representatives from the Texas Department of Public Safety and U.S. Marshall's Service laid out details of the operation that netted 119 arrests.
The operation focused mostly on violent gang members said DPS Regional Director Todd Snyder. The charges included Capital Murder and drug and weapons related charges.
Snyder said they got a lot of drugs off the street.
