USPS mail carrier robbed in Killeen, up to $150,000 reward being offered

The robbery reportedly happened on May 10 at 4303 Deek Dr. around 4:43 p.m.

KILLEEN, Texas — The U.S. Postal Inspection Service, or USPIS, is offering a hefty reward of up to $150,000 for information that'll help lead to the arrest of the person who robbed a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier last Friday in Killeen.

According to USPIS, the robbery happened on May 10 at 4303 Deek Dr. around 4:43 p.m.

The suspect was described to be wearing a black mask, black hoodie and black pants during the reported robbery, USPIS said. According to Killeen Police, the suspect is a black male with a thin build and estimated to be in his late teens to early twenties in age.

If you may know who this person is or have any additional information regarding the robbery, you're asked to contact USPIS at 1-877-876-2455. After, say "law enforcement" with the reference case No. 4307452.

"Take no action to apprehend this person yourself," USPIS warned.

Other information can also be forwarded to Bell County Crime Stoppers by calling 254-526-TIPS (8477). A tip that leads to the arrest of the individual or individuals responsible can make you eligible for a reward up to $1,000 in cash.

All information provided will be kept confidential, USPIS said.
