TEMPLE, Texas — Multiple agencies responded to structure fire in Temple Thursday morning.
At 9:22 a.m. Temple Fire & Rescue were called to a home located in the 900 block of Alamo Court.
Upon arrival, they found the single-story residence with smoke coming from the front door and attic space. There was one person inside who was eventually evacuated, the agency confirmed.
The fire was contained at 10:25 a.m., according to reports.
"Temple Fire and Rescue responded with six units and 14 personnel and mutual aid was received from Belton Fire Department who responded to one unit and four personnel," the report said following the incident.
Authorities confirmed there were no reported injuries to either the sole resident or first responders.
Temple Fire and Rescue investigators determined the cause of the fire was from the home’s water heater.
