WACO, Texas — The TEXT 911 system in Waco is currently down due to maintenance, the Waco Police Department shared on Friday, May 31.
Waco PD stated the system is currently going through a "maintenance upgrade" and is not working at the time of writing.
The department said it will announce on social media when the system returns.
In the meantime, residents can still call 911 in the case of an emergency.
