WACO, Texas — The Waco Police Department's SWAT team will be conducting training exercises on Thursday, August 1 at Hawaiian Falls and Lake Waco.
The training will focus on water survival and boat operations.
Residents and visitors are advised not to be alarmed if they see police activity at these locations throughout the day.
The SWAT team’s presence is purely for training purposes, and there is no threat to the public.
