United States Naval Academy STEM Kids Camp coming to Waco

The one day camp will run two days on Aug. 7 and Aug. 8.

WACO, Texas — The United States Naval Academy STEM Kids Camp is coming to the Doris Miller Community Center on Aug. 7 and Aug. 8.

The first day is for kids ages 9 to 10 and the second day is for ages 11 to 13. The camp starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. on both days.

At the camp, kids will spend the day exploring rocketry, robotics and interactive STEM activities. The camp is free and lunch is provided, but registration is required, according to the website. Registration can be found here.

The camp is encouraging all teachers that are passionate about STEM to volunteer for the event. For anyone with questions, they can reach out to (254) 750-1956.
