HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas — Raising Cane’s is teaming up with local pet welfare organizations for its 2024 Holiday Plush Puppy Campaign, with 100% of the proceeds from plush puppy sales going to support pet adoption and rescue efforts nationwide.
The campaign runs from Nov. 25 to Jan. 5 and aims to raise funds for organizations in communities across the country.
In Central Texas, Raising Cane’s locations in Harker Heights, Killeen, and Copperas Cove will donate proceeds to the Harker Heights Pet Adoption Center. In Bryan and College Station, funds will benefit Aggie Guide Dogs and Service Dogs, while the Waco location will support Pet Circle Regional Animal Center.
The campaign features a limited-edition Plush Puppy dressed as a candy cane, symbolizing the brand’s “Raise a Little Cane” holiday theme. Plush Puppies are available for $9.99 plus tax in Raising Cane’s restaurants, with net proceeds benefiting local pet welfare groups.
In addition to the sale of Plush Puppies, local Raising Cane’s restaurants will host fundraising events, including a pet adoption event at the Harker Heights Pet Adoption Center on Nov. 25 from 12 to 8 p.m. at 403 Indian Trail.
Raising Cane’s has been raising funds for pet welfare since 2004, and over the years, the campaign has generated more than $2 million for dog parks, no-kill shelters, and animal rescues.
For those unable to visit in-person, Plush Puppies are also available for purchase online at raisingcanes.com, with proceeds benefiting the same pet welfare causes.
