COPPERAS COVE, Texas — Whether you have been affected directly, or someone you love. Cancer has had an impact on our lives at some point.
That is why the Pink Warrior Angels are hosting their 5th annual Shine Bright Like a Diamond runway of Hope Fundraising Gala.
The Pink Warrior Angels is an organization that raises money to help those who are going through cancer treatments pay their bills.
There will be a fashion show where models who are battling cancer will have the opportunity to showcase their confidence on the runway in front of friends, family, and the community.
“It starts with a three-day retreat for our cancer models,” said Julie Moser, founder of Pink Warrior Angels. “We will do some healing. Some meditation. Some fun time. We love to make some great TikTok’s, and line dancing. Just to have a safe space for our cancer survivors to not have to always be strong. We can be vulnerable for each other and help each other.”
The Shine Bright Like a Diamond Runway of Hope Fundraising Gala will be held at the Knoxville Ranch in West on Saturday, Feb. 17.
Six News Anchor Jasmin Caldwell will serve as the emcee for the night.
