Killeen Hispanic Heritage Month Reception - Killeen City Hall - Sep. 16
The community is invited to attend, according to the city. Mayor Nash-King presents an official proclamation and there are many organizations invited. More information can be found here.
Hispanic Leaders' Network presents Grupo Pakal "COLOR OF MAYA" - Mayborn Museum Complex - Sep. 21
“Color of Maya” tells the fascinating history and culture of the Mayan Empire through festive dance ceremonies to native music. Grupo Pakal Artists, dressed in stunning wardrobe and elaborate headdresses, will present traditional Mesoamerican dances including: Live Mayan Music with authentic Mayan instruments with beautiful harmonies and dance music. Viva la Fiesta! - Baylor Club - Oct. 15
This community event will have music, dancing and food. The event is free to attend, but does require registration. More information and registration can be found here.
