KILLEEN, Texas — An 8-year-old brought together her lemonade skills and love for animals to raise money for Killeen Animal Services.
Madison ran a lemonade stand on Wednesday, Aug 14, and donated every dollar; $194 to be exact. She said she did it because the Killeen shelter animals were "so cute", according to the City of Killeen.
The city gave her a shoutout on Facebook, saying:
"We're so grateful to Madison and her family for their generous donation to Killeen Animal Services to help our shelter animals! A huge thank you to Madison for her kindness! We hope her efforts inspire other young people to get involved and make a positive impact."
