Central Texas communities are embracing the holiday season with an array of Christmas celebrations.

Bell County

Holiday Fest, Belton, TX

  • Where: Bell County Museum
  • Date: Sat. Dec. 14
  • Time: 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

This free event at the museum gives you a chance to learn about different winter holidays and Christmas traditions from around the world! Activities include making Christmas ornaments, St Nicholas Day shoes, Three Kings crowns, and a jingle bell maker challenge! 

Christmas on the Farm, Belton, TX

  • Where: 301 W Loop 121, Belton
  • When: Sat. Dec. 7
  • Time: 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Christmas on the Farm is a low-cost event for children and their families. The event offers over 40 fun activities for kids of all ages; a petting zoo, games, live entertainment, mechanical bull, bounce houses and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Tickets are available for purchase at the event!

Holly Jolly Christmas Events in Temple, Temple, TX

Temple's Christmas celebrations serves to help the community create cherished memories. The City of Temple does this through parades and festive events, embraces its small-town spirit and fosters meaningful connections among residents.

78th Annual Christmas Parade, Temple, TX

A cherished holiday spectacle that stands as one of Texas' staple yuletide processions. Be part of the magic on the first Monday in December as we welcome Santa Claus into the heart of Downtown Temple!

Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, Killeen, TX

Holiday Pop-Up, Killeen TX

At the Holiday Pop-Up in Killeen the event is great for Christmas shopping and holiday fun. There will be games, a raffle, Toys for Tots and music. 

Christmas Parade, Salado, TX

  • Where: starts at Royal Street and Main Street – ends at 601 N Main St. (Salado Civic Center)
  • When: Thursday Dec. 5
  • Time: 6 p.m.

The 64th Annual Salado Christmas Stroll kicks off with its Christmas Parade which is the official opening of the historic Salado Christmas Stroll for two weekends.
