Hill County 911 centers service restored

The issue is not on the county’s end and has been reported to AT&T, according to a statement from the Hill County Sheriff’s Facebook.

HILL COUNTY, Texas — Hill County 911 centers were experiencing intermittent interruptions with receiving emergency calls as of 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, officials said.

The 911 centers were restored at 5 a.m. on Wednesday.

The issue is not on the county’s end and has been reported to AT&T, according to a statement from the Hill County Sheriff’s Facebook.

Residents in need of emergency services are advised to use landlines if they cannot get through via 911. The emergency landline number is 254-582-5313.

Authorities are working with AT&T to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
