FORT CAVAZOS, Texas — March Madness may be a few months away, but Fort Cavazos is still getting ready for a slam dunk event.
Fort Cavazos' Child and Youth Services, in partnership with Cavalry Family Housing's Resident Advisory Board, are hosting a "Kids Vs. Kops" basketball game at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Teens from freshmen to seniors are set to hit the court at the Bronco Youth Center for a friendly game against installation military police.
During the event, military police officers will reportedly also discuss their day-to-day Army activities with the youth and provide a brief military working dog demonstration.
Parents are also encouraged to attend and participate in the event.
