MARLIN, Texas — Residents in Falls County, Texas now have access to a FEMA Disaster Recovery Center of their own.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced the opening of a Disaster Recovery Center in Falls County on June 30, 2024, to help Central Texans who were affected by the severe storms that hit Central Texas in April, May and June.
The center will be located at Marlin Middle School, located at 678 Success Dr. in Marlin, Texas.
According to FEMA, most centers are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. unless otherwise specified, and provide "one-on-one help" to residents affected by the storms or flooding.
Centers are currently open in Bell, Coryell, Leon and Navarro counties among others. To find a center nearest to you, visit this link.
