The Copperas Cove Crime Victims Office is hosting a ceremony for families to honor loved ones lost to violent crime.

COPPERAS COVE, Texas — Coryell County Crime Victims Services and the City of Copperas Cove will honor victims of violent crime this December with their 10th Annual Tree of Angels.

The Tree of Angels event is meant to remember those who have lost their lives to violent crime, and give families a chance to honor their loved ones.

The event will be held at the Copperas Cove Police Department, located at 302 E. Ave E in Copperas Cove, beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2.

Families who have lost a loved one to violent crime will have an angel to adorn the tree with, according to the City of Copperas Cove, and a keynote speaker will give an address. Light refreshments will also reportedly be provided.

To RSVP, or for more information, contact 254-865-5911 ext. 206.

"In this celebration of life for each victim lost we gather strength from one another," said the City of Copperas Cove in a release.
