TEMPLE, Texas — The City of Temple, in partnership with Temple Fire & Rescue and the Temple Police Department, will hold a 9/11 remembrance ceremony on Wednesday, September 11.
The ceremony will be at the Central Fire Station in downtown Temple.
It will take place at 210 N 3rd St., beginning at 8:00 a.m. and lasting for 90 minutes. It is open to the public and offers the community a chance to gather and honor the 2,977 lives lost in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Local first responders will come together to pay tribute to the victims and reflect on the bravery of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
This ceremony is free, and everyone is encouraged to attend and participate in this important observance.
