China Spring residents invited to share feedback on new City park

The City of Waco will hold a meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 30 where residents can "help shape the future" of the new parkland.

CHINA SPRING, Texas — A new park could be on the horizon for China Spring, and the City of Waco wants to know what residents think.

According to Waco Parks and Recreation, a new park is planned for the corner of Jonquil and Flat Rock Road.

The City will be holding a public meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 30 where citizens can give their feedback on the new park as well as learn more about the current plans for it.

The City of Waco said attendees to the meeting will have an opportunity to learn more about the project's goals and objectives and will be able to provide input on potential design elements and programming options to "help shape the future of this community parkland!"

The meeting will be held at the China Spring Intermediate School cafeteria, located at 4001 Flat Rock Road, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., according to Waco Parks and Rec.
