TEXAS, USA — The United States Army announced a recruiting duty volunteer assignment incentive, offering a one-time lump sum payment of $5,000 for Regular Army and United States Army Reserve (Active Guard Reserve) noncommissioned officers.
According to DVIDS press release, this incentive is granted to those who commit to serving as detailed recruiters for a duration of 36 months.
However, soldiers currently serving as Department of the Army Selected Recruiters or holding the 79R designation are excluded from eligibility for this incentive.
To qualify, soldiers must meet specific eligibility criteria, including reporting to the Army Recruiting College before March 31, successfully graduating from the ARC, completing the Advanced Training Program within the first 120 days of assignment to a recruiting station, and receiving a satisfactory ATP quality score from the New Recruiting NCO Board.
Eligible soldiers must also be in good standing, free from adverse actions under AR 600-8-2, and meet Army retention standards outlined in AR 601-280 at the time of payment.
Upon fulfilling all requirements, soldiers will enter into a written agreement, confirming their eligibility and acceptance of the $5,000 sum.
