TEMPLE, Texas — Hundreds of people in the Central Texas community had the chance to step into the magic of the City of Temple's Annual Christmas Parade on Dec. 2.
The family-friendly holiday event has been entertaining locals and visitors for nearly eight decades. Since its debut in 1946, this cherished tradition has brought the community together to celebrate the season with joy and unity.
Adams Avenue in Downtown Temple came alive with the sights and sounds of the holiday season. For generations, Temple's parade has been a highlight of the year, embodying the city’s festive spirit and sense of togetherness.
The parade lit up the night with over 100 uniquely illuminated floats and displays, transforming the streets into a vibrant wonderland. From whimsical designs to festive themes, each entry is a masterpiece of creativity, captivating audiences of all ages.
Local businesses, community organizations, school groups and more participated in the event, and no Christmas parade would be complete without the big man himself! Santa Claus made his grand appearance, spreading holiday cheer and delighting children and adults alike.
