WACO -- All boat ramps were closed on both the Brazos and Bosque rivers and Lake Waco Friday until further notice.
According to a press release from the city, recent releases from upstream have the river flowing, and parts of the river walk were underwater.
In addition to submerged parks and boat ramps on Lake Waco, there’s a lot of floating debris that could endanger anyone who chooses to try to go on the lake.
The City of Waco will notify citizens immediately as boat ramps and parks become available for use.
