Waco-McLennan County Library and La Vega High business program students offering free tax help this tax season

Need some help with your taxes this year? Students from La Vega High's business program are offering a helping hand.

WACO, Texas — Central Texans have a new resource to help file their taxes this year.

The Waco-McLennan County Library has partnered with students from La Vega High School's business program to offer residents free tax filing assistance this tax season, according to the City of Waco.

On Mondays through April 8, residents are invited to the Central Library, located at 1717 Austin Ave., from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., where certified students will be able to help them file their IRS income tax return.

No appointment is necessary, according to the City. 

Those who wish to take advantage of this resource should bring their W2 and other tax documents, their ID and the social security cards of everyone that will be included on their tax form.

TAX PREP HELP — Do you need help filing your IRS income tax return? You're in luck! The Waco-McLennan County Library and students from La Vega High School’s business program have partnered to provide residents with FREE tax filing assistance!
