KILLEEN, Texas — The Killeen Municipal Court has announced the reintroduction of its warrant forgiveness program.
The program is set to run from Dec. 1 through the end of the month.
During this period, citizens with outstanding warrants can visit the courthouse without fear of arrest, and all associated warrant fees will be waived.
Judge Kris Krishna started this program last year. Last year, 61 citizens were able to clear a total of 109 warrants, with a combined value of $58,418.98.
Some citizens may also be eligible for alternative solutions, such as community service or fine reductions, based on their ability to pay.
