Deep Eddy Vodka announced Wednesday it has purchased a 194,000-square foot facility in Buda to expand their operations.

The company said the new distillery will operate in tandem with their Dripping Springs location to keep up with demand and “increase production capacity to more than 5 million cases per year.” KVUE reported in September that the new facility would be along the 100 block of Precision Drive.

"Deep Eddy Vodka continues to grow at a rapid pace throughout the country and we are on track to ship 1 million cases this year," said John Scarborough, President of Deep Eddy Vodka in a release. "We are investing in additional infrastructure and capacity to ensure we can keep pace with our tremendous growth. Austin and the Central Texas region are the foundation of our brand, and this investment represents our commitment to keeping it that way. Our roots are planted here, and we are grateful to our local employees and the consumers that helped shape Deep Eddy Vodka into the success that it is today."

Deep Eddy added they are planning to enhance the Tasting Room visitor experience, including “added capacity and the ability to host special events like live music shows.

Deep Eddy was purchased by Kentucky-based Heaven Hills Brands in 2015, and is available in all 50 states.
