Waco Animal Shelter seeks community support for new beds

The shelter is partnering with Kuranda ShelterBeds, a program that allows residents to donate new beds directly to the Waco Animal Shelter.

WACO, Texas — The Waco Animal Shelter is calling on local residents for help.

With over 140 dog kennels, approximately 35 cat kennels, and more animals in foster care, the shelter's beds are showing signs of wear and tear.

To address this need, the shelter is partnering with Kuranda ShelterBeds, a program that allows residents to donate new beds directly to the Waco Animal Shelter.

These chew-proof Kuranda beds provide a stable, sanitary, and comfortable place for the shelter’s animals to sleep off the ground. Donations are tax-deductible.

Residents can donate a bed directly through the program’s website.
