TEMPLE, Texas — Two Temple families are raising money after two teenagers were killed in a car crash in Gonzales, Texas in late June, according to the families.

GoFundMe pages have been created to raise money for the families and funeral expenses of 18-year-old Taylour Pechal and 18-year-old Krisna Soto.

According to a GoFundMe organized by Tammy Givens, Pechal had just graduated from Temple High School and was planning on attending Texas A&M University.

"Our hearts are broken but we will never forget her infectious smile and loving soul," Givens said in the GoFundMe. "We want to assist with the financial burden of the funeral. Any donation and most importantly prayers will be appreciated."

At the time of writing, the GoFundMe had raised over $11,000 of its $13,000 goal.

A GoFundMe organized by Kathya Soto said Krisna Soto had also recently graduated and dreamed of working as a dental hygienist. Kathya Soto described Krisna as "a very loving, smart and funny person" with a "beautiful soul".

"Krisna leaves our family in broken pieces, but the memories we have with her will never be forgotten," Kathya Soto said in the GoFundMe. "Please join us in supporting our family during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference."

At the time of writing, the GoFundMe had surpassed its $10,000 goal.
