WACO, Texas — Popular Waco radio host, Jim Cody from the "Zack & Jim" Show on Waco 100, reportedly died after a battle with Liver Cancer.
Zack Owen, Cody's close friend and radio partner for over three decades, delivered the news to their Facebook supporters.
According to a recent article written on Cody's battle, "On Aug. 24, 2023, everything changed. Cody has not been on air for several months as he battles liver cancer in hospice care. He was supposed to be getting a liver transplant, but tumors grew too quickly, making him ineligible."
Cody's was not just a radio icon but also a loving father and husband to his family.
For over 30 years, Cody and Owen shared a remarkable partnership on the "Zack & Jim" Show, which got them countless listeners. Their humor and infectious laughter brightened the lives of their audience, making them a beloved duo in the world of radio.
