WACO, Texas — Another Baylor Bear is headed to the NBA.
Ja'Kobe Walter was drafted as the 19th overall pick by the Toronto Raptors on June 26, becoming the fourth straight Baylor Bear to be selected in the first round of the draft.
Two picks later, fellow Baylor Bear Yves Missi was also drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans, joining the NBA only four years after he picked up a basketball for the very first time.
Baylor now joins Duke as the only two college basketball programs in the country with a top 20 pick in each of the last four NBA drafts.
