Streets are talking | What is your least favorite Christmas gift?

Texas Today asked Central Texans what their least favorite Christmas gift has been throughout the years.

TEMPLE, Texas — Across Central Texas people will be snuggled up in their beds dreaming of sugar plums dancing around in their heads. 

On Christmas morning they will open their presents but not every reaction will be so pleasant. 

It's the time of year when Santa makes a mistake or two but it's okay between me and you. It's fun to laugh and remember the times when we gathered and and no one whined.

There are some people who can't stand what they got in years past. I get it, sometimes the presents just don't last!

A recap of the Temple Christmas Parade:

TEMPLE, Texas — The City of Temple hosted its 77th annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting event on Monday, Dec. 4 with a theme of "An Old-Fashioned Christmas."

The tree lighting took place at 6:15 p.m. at the City Hall Municipal building parking lot at 2 North Main St., followed by the Christmas parade at 6:30 p.m. The parade lasted an hour and a half and featured light-up displays from over 100 applicants, the city said in a news release.

The Texas Today team enjoyed meeting and greeting everyone along the parade route!

Parade Route

The parade started at the intersection of East Adams Avenue and North 8th Street, then went down west on Adams Avenue. It ended up at Temple High School, 415 North 31st St.

By 7:20 p.m., Santa arrived on W. Adams Avenue.
