KILLEEN, Texas — The City of Killeen has some egg-citing news, Spring Fest is coming on March 23!
Not only this, but on the same day, Killeen will also hold pop-up egg hunts across five parks throughout the city.
Spring Fest will be held at Lions Club Park, located at 1700 East Stan Schlueter Loop in Killeen, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
According to the City, festivities will include a dance party, crafts, games, food trucks, bounce houses, pictures with the Easter Bunny and bunny trail adventures, but the day's activities don't end there.
Adopt-a-Park organizations will scatter eggs at five parks around Killeen throughout the day, according to the City, however, the locations where the eggs will be hidden are reportedly top-secret until the day of the hunt.
The City of Killeen said it will announce the parks where the eggs will be hidden on its Facebook and Instagram channels at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on March 23, where residents will be able to check in for the latest updates.
The City encourages residents to comment if a park they visit has eggs or not, and to help discard empty eggs.
The event is free as long as supplies last, according to the City.
