FORT CAVAZOS, Texas — Fort Cavazos units are actively engaged in a combat readiness exercise named "Remagen Ready," scheduled to take place from Nov. 1st to 9th.
During this exercise, white puffy artificial smoke will be put out into the atmosphere.
According to Fort Cavazos Facebook post, "depending on weather conditions and wind patterns, the artificial smoke may drift toward the neighboring roads and communities surrounding Fort Cavazos."
Officials emphasize that the artificial smoke used in this exercise pose no harm to health, the environment, or equipment. The concentration and duration of the smoke are closely monitored and controlled to ensure safety.
Drivers should exercise caution if encountering the smoke due to possible limited visibility.
