TEMPLE, Texas — A new business is beefing up Temple.
Westphalia Market Butcher Baker is now officially open!
All produce such as lettuce, carrots, sweet potatoes and asparagus, as well as all meats, like chicken, New York strip and italian sausage, are locally sourced.
Westphalia is located at 13 South Main Street in Downtown Temple.
Westphalia isn't just a butcher shop. A bakery, deli shop and seating will all be added to the inside of it.
Westphalia has some unique food creations as well, including:
- Wildcat Treats: Jalapeno stuffed with cream cheese, covered in breakfast sausage, wrapped in bacon.
- Bevo balls: Jalapeno stuffed with cream cheese covered in boudin.
- Stuffed wild rice pork chop: Wild rice wrapped inside a pork chop.
Westphalia also has regular meats like chuck roast, bacon and bologna.
